The People's Survival Progam and Other Groups Help Feed and Clothe the Harlem Community

Friday May 11, 2012 - Shaka Shakur and his band of brothers and sisters run a people's survival program that provides food, clothing, and assistance in receiving healthcare and housing. Their program is a replica of the Black Panther program of the 60's and 70's.

Greetings, to all those involved in the struggle to better the conditions of all people of color. Just finished listening to brother Shaka Shakur regarding the Pathology of White Supermacy & its affect on our community. Year Remember theses ago, there was a Strong Black woman in our struggle by the name of ; QUEEN MOTHER MOORE & this sister spoke at a gathering in the Bronx and sister Moore, said that once "Black People" DE-NEGROTIZE themsleves then we can begin to recover/ restore oursleves! This was a very profound staement that has stuck with me over forty years, Queen Mother Moore was a Great Woman of Color who I will always Treasure. I cheer brother Shaka on in his struggle to help up lift the consciousness of our people! Remember these concepts: AGGITATE, EDUCATE & ORGANIZE.
Peace.
