Music In the Subway

Throughout the subway system you can find talented musicians singers and dancers.  All Things Harlem filmed a few different musical groups in the subway ranging from "Ebony Hillbillies" to classic doo-wop.  Enjoy the videos and keep a look out for other great talents underground.

    The subway entertainment is really good fort eh people who travel through this. As it's not going to be a lonely feeling to them hereafter. This is just going to be the most amazing way of entertaining people.

On banjo, Norris Bennet, now in his seventies. Fiddle player is Enrique. These are the Ebony Hillbillies, playing what amounts to African American square dance music for the early part of the 20th century.
