HIV in Harlem New York

New York is the most HIV infected state in the US. Health advocates in Harlem tell allthingsharlem.com they are seeing a rise in new cases by practically every group, including senior citizens. Dante Higgins caught up with Harlem Dowling and other community organizations as they came together for National HIV Testing Day in Marcus Garvey Park.

 

Andrew Cuomo comes to Harlem


New York State Atty General, Andrew Cuomo made an appearance at Harlem Hospital today 7/30/09. He told an audience in the hospital auditorium that his office is here to serve the community. He brought with him NY Senator Bill Perkins and NY Assemblyman Keith Wright. Representatives from Cuomo's office reported on heatlh care fraud, consumer fraud and civil rights they are takng legal action on at the moment.
